PRETORIA \u2013 The\u00a0<\/span>ATAF Women in Tax Network (AWITN)<\/a>\u00a0is hosting a leadership conference on 7 October 2021 with the theme African Women in Leadership.<\/span><\/p>\n

The conference has already attracted women tax practitioners, women in tax, ATAF Members, tax administrators and tax specialists.<\/p>\n

The African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) launched the Women in Tax Network in March 2021. The AWITN is a unique platform that represents and connects African women working in taxation with furthering discussion on the effect of tax policy on gender equality and empowering women in tax.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis Network will be a very significant achievement in the fight for gender equality and a true milestone in ATAF\u2019s history as it will provide leadership training and mentorship avenues to empower African women in tax\u201d \u2013 Phillip Tchodie, Chairman of ATAF said.<\/p>\n

HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:<\/p>\n

There are several benefits awaiting registrants such as hearing about personal journeys to leadership from extraordinary women, learning from these journeys and several tips on how to become leaders. In addition to this, participants will unpack the challenges facing African women in leadership and how to best support each other for growth opportunities.<\/p>\n

This conference will be an opportunity for fellow African women to connect, share experiences and ideas and learn more about the unique platform which the AWITN presents itself.<\/p>\n
